    For posterity:

"Here is a great opportunity and rare chance to get this rare 2004 OMEGA speedmaster professional chronograph "From the moon to mars" Prototype dial for calibre 1861.

Notice that this dial has the text "from the moon to mars" centered at 6 O'clock instead of the normal "side" version.

It is dial only as shown on the pictures.

The dial is unused and in overall good condition! Small blemishes on face cause of stocking among other dials, nothing important!

For case reference 145.0228, calibre 1861.
    Diameter 31mm.
This dial is guaranteed 100% authentic and original OMEGA product.
Pictures are part of the description.
Shipping will be via Swiss Post priority air mail registered. 25$ worldwide.
Check my other items and good luck."

Who knows.... It brought a huge price though, and I can't imagine a fake would have fooled enough people to do that. What I think is interesting is that nobody seems to care about these Moon to Mars Speedmasters; they languish for sale for months at a time... and yet a "prototype" dial goes for huge money?

It seemed questionable to me, but who knows.
