New member to the forum and recently purchased an Omega Seamaster AT from an Omega AD. I was looking at the warranty card today and the number did not completely match the number on the back of my watch. The warranty card has the “H2” written before the rest of the number that matches up with the back of the watch. It appears that the dealer wrote down the number from a sticker on the back of the watch that read H2XXXXXXXX, instead of the regular XXXXXXXX on the back of the watch. I was wondering how this would affect my warranty? I don’t anticipate having to take the watch in while it is under warranty, but I also do not want to have to worry about this down the line. Any advice on how to proceed? I think I should probably take it back to the dealer for an exchange.
