I think the hands are fine, match the patina and age, watch still had the original Omega crystal too. Plenty of references with the minute hand extending past the second track.

Movement is bright and crisp, no issues with the mainspring and will tick briefly, just needs a cleaning.

 

Did you change the crystal? It looked (and described as cracked) in the auction

 

Yes, its always a leap of faith seeing beyond the grunge.
