Ward Cleaver’s watch

I love leave it to beaver and I am watching the series again. I’ve noticed that Hugh Beaumont a.k.a. Ward Cleaver has quite an elaborate gold watch. It has an intricate gold band and really does not go with what we know about Ward Cleaver.. I’ve done a search on the Internet and there’s nothing there about the watch. It’s really interesting but I cannot get a close-up of the watch to really identify it. Anyone know?

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that it was a Chopard.

The bracelet is probably aftermarket, whether gold or not. Not enough detail to give you a brand, but the lugs look late 1940’s to me.

Is that a dual crown, perhaps a alarm watch, with a six o'clock date window?

I think it's time only, with a small seconds hand.

For some reason I'm thinking Hamilton. Those lugs remind me of the Langdon.

I was thinking Hamilton CLD, but can't find one with a sub second and stick indices. Almost looks like the Lyndon mixed with the Steeldon.

Closer look and I agree its sub seconds.
There is still the question of what exactly is at the base of one lug?
It looks to me to be a pusher or second crown.

I thought of a Hamilton of some sort too.

Sure looks like a Hamilton CLD Kingdon, produced only in the year 1953.
The leather strap was replaced.

Looks to me like there was a stylized "12" and no other numerals on the dial. Doesn't really match to any Hamiltons that I am aware of.

You can see the 12, the 2 is visible and oriented on a radial line from the center. The minute hand covers the 4, there is not a 6 on this model. The 8 is barely visible, but it is there. The 10 is hard to see. Numbers 1,3,5,7,9 are represented as marks on this model.
