As a complete Noob, I am not qualified to answer, but that has to be a fake. I would bet $ on it. Don't buy it. McK I see I have been corrected. I should have remained quiet and thought a fool rather than to have given my opinion and proven it. I will sit quietly in the corner and just observe and learn again. Sorry.
Gold plated Omega De Ville with caliber 1378 quartz movement presumably made at the request of one of the Arabian entities to be presented as gifts or rewards. Being a gold plated model it would be a token rather than a significant gift. Is one of our Arabic members able to translate the script?
LOL, not much.......$10. Who do I send it to? I am sorry I overstepped, I was trying too hard to fit in. McK
Maybe a promotional piece given out to dignitaries, ambassadors etc.? Would need to have it translated Plated case and quartz. Not a lot of value and maybe collectible to those that collect Saudi signed type dials DON
I'm told it says: King Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz (essentially, Saud, son of Abdulrahman who was son of Abdulaziz) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia apparently the centre is fashioned like a KSA coin hope that helps
I know it's a very old post and question, but I thought I might add to say I was given one of these after leaving employment in Riyadh in 1991. See photo of my example. I was told the fascia is a replica of a Saudi one (1) Hallala coin (like a one cent coin), and certainly mine would not have been a watch with any relationship to a Saudi dignatory. I had mine insured for $1,000 when I first came back to Australia. It has probably cost me that much over the years in new bands, cleaning and the odd repair.
