I picked up my Sapphire today and my guy at the AD indicated that it's an increased demand, short supply and the Boutiques are getting preference situation, he had a 3861 Sapphire on a strap and a 1861 Hesalite on a bracelet in the case. Apparently the Sapphire on a bracelet is the one with the most demand here. I still think there's a market for a Hesalite sandwich if Omega wanted to do one, but they can't meet demand for their current offerings, I'm fairly convinced that production in Switzerland is somewhat behind because of the pandemic.

When I went to the Houston boutique around 3 weeks ago, they had the hesalite with bracelet on display. Didn’t see any of the other variations.

You can get very lucky with some watches. I went to an AD a few weeks ago and they had a Tudor Black Bay 58 available for sale. I went to another AD and they told me its an 18 to 24 months wait for one so go figure.

Maybe you should go to another AD or boutique and ask around. You might get lucky.

Per what @OmegaFan503 shared, when you access the site from your locale, are not shown that the watch is available? Would be odd if availability via their e-commerce platform was locale-specific...

Not really odd. Different countries are pulling from different inventory systems and Omega can’t just pull a US watch and ship to another country without worrying about customs charges and what not. That’s why what’s in stock on the US site may not show on European countries.

I suspect we'll see an LE Hesalite sandwich, it seems like a rich vein of nostalgia to mine.

My boutique (Honolulu) usually has Hesalite available but not sapphire. Huge demand for that right now.

My AD just received their first shipment last week and are keeping one of each on display for customers to try on. He said I could have one within a week or 2 if I wanted. I’m located in Western Canada.

Hesalites occasionally in stock and a few sapphires in and immediately out here where I am in Canada. No discounts on either, and, according to my AD, Omega is taking a bigger cut than they used to on core models, substantially reducing dealer margins (and presumably also narrowing the room for discounts). Things will slow down as supply increases, I expect.

No discount. Probably won't be one for a while.
Not strictly true as I have done a search on here and people have suggested they have received one and I have been offered 10% (which I have in writing from the AD)

I was at my local AD today. They had an 1861 and the "3861 on a strap." The sales person didn't know the difference, and as I was pointing stuff out (sub-dials, inscription on the back) she kept saying that the 1861 was the "original moon watch"
