I went back for a second look, this time I bought the watch on the bracelet but I've put it on this Omega croc strap that I had in my strap box.
Rubber strap and clasp also ordered and to follow.

You bought it! That looks amazing! Well done. I'm headed to my OB today to look at adding a couple of straps for my Speedy and my SM300 MC ... I'll have to see if they have one of these in stock. I won't be able to get it for a while, but in the meantime I can drool over the display case ...

How does that world timer work?
Can you adjuste the inner ring to a particular tone (timezone)?

How does that world timer work?
Can you adjuste the inner ring to a particular tone (timezone)?

Inner ring is slaved to the main movement, with the hour hand adjusting independently. It operates identically to Omega’s other GMT Watches, but the 24 hour hand is just replaced by a disc.

I have been looking for a thread on this watch for a while. One of my favourites and of all worldtimers. It seems more overlooked than others and yet I think it is one of the most beautiful and unique models in their line - My daily wear.

This is a stunning watch and absolutely loved it… until I put it on my wrist that is. It just didn’t feel right for me, especially a bit too bulky and big.
But that doesn’t mean that it is to others and reminds us why it is important to always try a watch IRL.
