Hi. I just saw this watch for sale and I LOVE IT! Im not sure I have the funds for it right now but I'm going to make an offer. What do you think would be a fair offer on this. It is so beautiful! Thanks for taking a look!

Sweet watch. The 354 is a little less sought after than the 352, but IMO that's still a $2000 watch. If it were 18ct and a 352 add $400 minimum.

Yeah, he is asking a bit more than that but even at 2k I still need to raise some funds. Need to think about something to sell :)

$2850 asking for the watch isn't totally out of line since the condition is excellent. $2k for it would be a good price.

Just heard that the watch is actually sold and he forgot to mark it as sold on his site. Oh well, my bank account is safe for another day I suppose

You will find that Derek doesn't tend to go down much (if at all) from his asking prices. But his watches are often top-notch (like that gold-capped Constellation you bought from him not too many weeks ago, and this one).

Yes it is. If it wasn't sold and it was a black waffle dial I'd be listing watches on the sales forums now. :p

Actually no, most Omega WIS's prefer to have 3 or 4 vintage black guilloches, but getting one is a good start.

I actually prefer the diamond guilloche dials, they are definitely easier to read and photograph.

    White dials are cool too...

    Ok I'll stop now! :D

I haven't done any research on this, so it could be all wrong, but I thought others might be interested.

Btw, what is with the yucky Rolex-like crystal thingy over the date?

Yes, now. As a matter of fact you have a teeny little part of one watch from that photo inside an Omega you own. ;)
