It’s taken some time to come to terms with selling this one but it’s not being worn so it’s time to let someone else enjoy it. Not a Speedmaster this time, rather something rather vintage, small and radium. While I don’t know its exact age, this is a pretty interesting and original Vulcain Cricket mechanical alarm watch with radium lume on the dial from around the ‘50s. I’ve owned this for a few years, most of which it’s been in the safe. I do dig it out from time to time to have a play with the alarm, which (by the way), functions perfectly! The radium burn on the dial is evidence that this watch sat in its box, untouched for a very long time. The shadows suggest the watch stopped at 9.54 one day in the past, something that makes this watch pretty interesting. As you can see, it also retains its original box, instructions on how to use the mechanical alarm and its original strap. The B&S strap fitted also comes with the watch. A very interesting addition to any collection but as I’m currently thinning down my own, it’s presented here for sale. Based in London, a UK sale is preferable to keep shipping costs down and to avoid any taxes. Drop me a line if you’re interested. Happy to have a chat if you want to know more. Looking at offers around £995.
