So this watch is a bit of a project, but will make a killer watch once sorted out. It is a 1960's Vulcain Automatic diver with stainless case and aluminum bezel. The case appears unpolished with sharp bevels, and the bezel has lovely patina, but will need a new tension spring. From what I can tell, the watch got watch damage from a failed crown very early in its life, and the movement was replaced with a Benrus version of the correct ETA caliber, and the crown was replaced as well. The dial and hands have a great patina, and show some wear and surface corrosion, but are overall very nice. There is some wear (i.e. light surface rust and scratches) at the edge of the dial (last 3 pics were taken with a 10x loupe). The watch runs well "as-is", but I sourced a correct Vulcain movement (included in sale) to make the watch complete if the new owner chooses to install. Either wear as a beater or do a light restoration and have a killer vintage dive watch. Asking $300 shipped in the CONUS. Please feel free to text or call Matt at 202.531.4343, as I would like to go over the watch with any interested parties so that they can ask the requisite questions.
