Vintage Zenith - which model?

Hi everyone,

Browsing through eBay I came across this Zenith 2452 PC with its dial and hands still attached. It seems to me that it was housed in a gold case that was melted down at some point. The plastic shock-absorbing casing ring is similar to the ones used on Defy models, but there is no Defy name on the dial. Also, the rotor is marked Chronometer (possibly not original).

I'm not interested in the item, but more interested in what this model would have looked liked.

Any ideas?
