·Up for sale is my very rare old french vintage diver, a Yema Superman 1963 1. Generation.
This rare watch is an iconic diver as it is one of the first diver with a locking bezel.
Over all, the watch is in good condition considering its age.
It has a diameter of 38mm without crown and crownguard.
It has an uncommon grey/green dial with the nice indices.
The bezel locking mechanism is original, no aftermarket.
The watch is in good shape, the ETA 2452 movement is working accurate, even if the service history is unknown.
The dial has a nice vintage patina, the hands have all the full genuine lume.
The case is in good condition.
The bezel looks very well and turns not too easily and not too tight.
Only little fault, I have to mention: The crown does nor screw down. I left the watch in the condition as if I bought it.
I did not want to dive with it, so it was no big issue for me.
But it should be an easy fix for a good watchmaker.
The caseback is nearly untouched, all writings and serial are good readable.
I would date the watch around 1967/68.
It is a very rare watch and Yema made a limited reedition of it.
I have not seen many of them and certainly not in this condition.
I am asking 1400 Euro incl. shipping in EU.
Payment via bank transfer or Paypal F+F
Many good references at german Uhrforum, Instagram, Chronotrader.
The watch is located in germany.
The watch comes on the leather shown in the pics and with the original old advertising (have to bend it for the shipping).
If you have questions, feel free to ask.
Best,
Peter
