I am selling my Winton tank watch from the 1930's. The design of the case comes from the case manufacturer Schmitz Frêres (Brevet 189190) and the watch is working.

Selling it for 450 € plus insured shipping. The watch and me are located in Germany.

Disclaimer:

The buyer acknowledges that this is a private sale and that there is no manufacturer's warranty attached to this transaction. The watch is sold as is. The seller is not responsible for any problems that may arise after purchase. Prospective buyers are encouraged to carefully review the information and images provided before making a purchase decision.

Read the rules, that's why the mods wrote them!

Then why did the mods approve it? This argument is how we ended up down a long term member and prolific seller.

The mods approve a lot that they later go back and enforce. Multiple bumps in a day; multiple listings started per day (the OP is guilty of that), etc. There's not only one mod approving listings. One may approve one and another may get another. Since they're not in the same room, they may not even see that.
If we lost someone who wouldn't follow the rules, is it really a loss?

If you want to start a thread (in the right place) to politely advocate for watch lots in the sales forum, you may not be successful, but I doubt you'll be banned. When long-term members are banned, I think it's mainly because they basically say "F&@# you, ban me."

Great watches, BTW, I call these "clamshell" cases.

I have been in touch with Fred and he has spoken with Janice about her foul language and if re-instated, he insists that she will behave.

That's not on the poster -- especially with multiple mods on the job. The mods should know the rules, no? This right here is literally why they are here!

Not advocating for anything other than consistency.

The mods are volunteers. This is not their full time job. If they were to read every single word in every single sales post and moderate accordingly, they wouldn’t have time for anything else.

It’s on the users of this forum, that use these wonderful free services, to know the rules. The rules are written and available for all to see.

Notice (and a little time) has been given to the OP to edit the thread or it'll be deleted. Thanks.

I disagree but I'll message you privately about it. I'm done in this thread.

Major bang for buck. These clamshell cases were the best money could buy at the time.
GLWS. It would have been mine if not for the radium lume.

Nice size too, and the waterproofing usually helps preserving the dial. I think I'll like this one 🥰
