Vintage Watch Dial: Original or Repainted? Please help!

Hey everyone! Been a longtime fan of the page but am finally needing some help of my own. Found this watch available which has been a dream vintage watch for me, for a good deal, however, I have some concerns regarding the dial. It's listed as an Omega Calatrava Jumbo 39mm with a 30T2 movement. He says it has a Breguet hairspring. The caseback has 2487-1 stamped on it. The seller tells me it's all original including the dial, but the Omega logo itself doesn't look like others of it's time, looks fatter or more wide, and not the skinny ones I'm used to seeing. Also, the actual "OMEGA" looks off, especially the "G", which looks bigger to me, and extends both above and below the other letters. Finally, the Swiss Made at the bottom looks off as well. Can't tell if it's the reflection of the crystal. The serial number on the movement dates back to 1946 and the movement looks correct, but I could really use a hand from you professionals. Thank you so much! You guys are the best!

You are correct, the dial is not original. Hands as well, I'd assume. The photos seem designed to hide the dial, IMO, with all the glare and reflections.

There is no such thing as an "Omega Calatrava", just bullshit sales twaddle.

Just like the rest of the verbose coulourfull puffery trying to make it look rare and sought after.

The price is insane.
