A vintage Universal Geneve Compur Chronograph made for Beyer Zurich. I've only seen only one other with Beyer Zurich on the dial and with a few other Swiss retailers on the dial instead of the usual 'Universal Geneve'. Based on the serial number I belive this watch was made in the late 1930s and early 1940s. The watch runs and worked fine ever since I've owned it, chronograph resets back to zero very well. There is some discolouration at the bottom of the dial as seen in pictures. This is a very honest and interesting piece for a true UG collector priced to sell!
Case: Stainless steel, 34mm. 18mm between lugs
Dial: Original with gold markers and hands, unrestored with signs of wear
Movement: Universal Geneve cal. 283
