    Hi guys,

Wanting some advice (as always) on some vintage parts.

Seller has 3 items for sale.
    - a 2998 dial (considerable flaking of paint and nil lume)
    s-l1600 (4).jpg
    - a 321 movement with a serial number that is inline with 2998-6,61,62 (as per ilovemyspeedmaster)
    s-l1600.png

    - and a worn 145.012-67 case.
    s-l1600.jpg

I know that movements can be easily switched, and it provides no hard evidence, but would the fact a watch may have been fitted with both the dial and movement point to some legitimacy of the movement being originally from a speedmaster?

    your thoughts are appreciated,
    Cheers,
    Ed.

Would you wager a low offer on the dial + movement and hope to god that it is an original speedmaster serial via the archives?

    Or is the dial unsaveable?

    Thanks,
    Edwin

edwin, if you want to relume that dial, send it to us inside Oz. no problem with re lume. kind regards. achim......i guess, all items were once together and the seller wants to maximise the profit. or he did ask the factory for the mvmt. numer and learned, that it is not a speedmaster......

I'm the seller. I bought the watch and disassembled it because I needed the DON bezel for myself and I sell the other parts separately.

If I were a betting man, my money would be on this!

Edit: After the follow up posts from the seller I take this back

Bit harsh if anyone is trying to suggest, in the most passive way, that the the seller is behaving incorrectly:

    It's already an assembly.

It's already part dismantled for bezel

The museum won't give an extract for this range as they don't have records.

I would do the same as the seller

Thank you @Spacefruit . I'm a serious Omega collector. I don't want to cheat anyone. I wrote on my Ebay announces all the infos I know about the vintage parts. I also have sale prices under the range of Ebay. In the past I bought Speedmasters assembled and I completed them with patience. But in this case I'm really sad to sell this project because I need money to buy a new 145.012. I don't want to miss it. I'm here to explain and reply to every question :)
