Hello Guys I'm From Mexico and few days ago I found this Speedmaster in a old box at home of my grandfather, I researched some things and I think it's a totally original 1967 145.012 even the spring bars and domed plexyglass. What do you think? DSC01407.JPG DSC01413.JPG DSC01864.JPG View attachment 10489 DSC01868.JPG are of that time. What do you think? View attachment 10483 DSC01428.JPG

Watch is a cal 321 Speedmaster, bracelet is the correct original 1039 bracelet in rather nice condition, bezel is the correct dot above 90 bezel. Dial and hands have seen better days and the movement might have some moisture in it too, but the case, bracelet and bezel make it a rather nice watch regardless, and the dial and hands are easier to source than the other three parts.

    Hi

I like that....infact I really like that  ....and I wouldn't change a thing about it (apart from a good clean & treat it to a full service).

    Best - Neil

Your grandfather was a man with very good taste, and he most definitely took very good care of his Speedmaster, hope you enjoy wearing it!

Other pics. The Cal 321 looks immaculate, after seeing this I am sure that this mechanism has never been disarmed no trace of screwdriver on the screws, 46 years without service! , Correct Serial # for 1967 2500xxxx View attachment 10499

Not only that, it's a 145.012-67 SP, making it even more desirable than a normal 145.012-67 :)

Yea it definitely does need to be serviced now before you wear it, I wouldn't even wind it until its had the movement oiled as you will be direct metal on metal at this stage. If you like we can give you some details on a couple of watchmakers that handle vintage pieces like this while respecting their originality.

VERY NICE EXAMPLE TO START AN OMEGA COLLECTION...... TRY THIS SELLER FROM MEXICO;HE SHOULD HAVE A GOOD WATCHMAKER IN YOUR COUNTRY. SEND HIM AN EBAY MESSAGE AND ASK HIM TO GET BACK TO YOU. YOU CAN RELAY GREETINGS FROM ACHIM FROM AUSTRALIA, IF YOU LIKE. WE KNOW EACH OTHER. SERVICE THE MOVEMENT AND ALL IS FINE. BY THE LOOK OF IT, YOU CAN USE THE WATCH NOW WITHOUT PROBLEMS, BUT IT WILL BE DRY AND IN YOUR CLIMATE IT NEEDS A GOOD SERVICE TO BE PERFECT FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS. JUST REPORT BACK ON THE PROGRESS ! KIND REGARDS. ACHIM .... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170970318612?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network.

Oh that's just brilliant, and not overly surprising, considering how much care your grandfather took with the watch itself.

Did he have any other watches or just his Speedmaster?

    Oh hell, a CK2913 in as-new condition!?

You HAVE to take some photos of that for us, we almost never see 2913s with original bezels, and given how nice this one is, I can only imagine the condition of his Seamaster!

That would be something to see. Especially if it is in the same good original condition as the speedy. Cross my fingers and hope to see pictures with an original intact bezel...and box/papers. Never ever seen a 2913 with papers.
