I own a vintage Omega a vintage Omega Speedmaster Professional "pre-moon" chronograph 145.022-69 ST Cal 861 that I'm selling on ebay. My husband was the only owner. Omega Boutique in New York City confirmed that the case has absolutely correct original parts. Omega wrist band is not original. All functions work. Very good physical condition with overall signs of normal life wear expected for its age, most barely noticeable except in enlarged pics. Minor scratches and one long scratch on crystal. 2 dings side of case. Dial needs some restorative work at the edges – some flaking. Bezel looks very good to naked eye compared with most pics I’ve seen of similar vintage. The watch hasn’t been worn since 1999. It hasn’t been cleaned or serviced and I’ve priced it according to current Speedmast101 price chart which says that the 145.022-69s are currently most value for money and will be valued more in near future. It has a rectangular dot below 90 that is supposed to add to value of watch. If you’re interested please check my ebay listing for pictures. I’m asking $3,030. One buyer asked how low I will go and I said $2,800 -he offered that amount yesterday. Is that a good offer? I listed it about a week ago. Many thanks. Marlene
Before your post is deleted by the mods, I would say that if it is a genuine offer snap his hand off quick.
"It has a rectangular dot below 90 that is supposed to add to value of watch." In that case maybe you should ask for more!
Take the money and be happy. $2800 for a non-working caliber 861 Speedmaster in that shape sounds pretty good to me.

Honestly change it from a buy it now to an open auction $1 reserve. I can assure you you'll do better that way. The offer for 2800 is likely from someone who'll polish the crystal, do the minimum to get it ticking and resist it for 4k+ the following week with better photos. If you go no reserve auction it'll make your price or better.
Now what no one has mentioned, is that this is a chocolate. Otherwise I would say it was worth about $2000-2500. Those photos, they dont show the colour, but from experience I can see it.
NO ! Those prices are meaningless. Its a brown... I think the advice is, order $5 of polywatch off the net, take some well lit, natural light photos and relist. My guess is $3000-4000.
The other factor is its a single owner watch that hasn't been messed with, that changes things also compared to a cleaned up for sale watch.
The value of that watch is $3030.00. http://www.ebay.com/itm/171797632264?rmvSB=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
