    Hi all

Since getting the SM300 ive been looking vintage ones and on a off chance put in a bid for the one in the pictures and i was quite suprised to win it which i think is a reasonable price £3500ish (price was in euros).

Can you guys see any red flags i might have missed

    thanks

    john

There is a problem with the serial number : 19 millions, isn't it ?

Yes this low serial number is incorrect for this watch.

Nope, this type of 165.024 (no subreference HF caseback, type 3 bezel, gladiator hands, T dial) should, for the most, be a 24x serial.

20x serial would be for the very first 165.024-63's (with other type of parts)

A 196x serial would be for an early 165.014 or late 14755, so way off.

The OP movement number coincides within the range of a SM300 165.014-62. Not good.
