    Need some thoughts and opinions, please, on this SM 300
    1967 165.024 17J 550 Movement
    concerned about the "black dots" on the lume
    Are these dots reason to pass on this watch?

    Only one of your photos is showing up for me. I looked up the listing, and it seems strange that he posted a photo of the inside of the caseback, but no movement photo. I would want to know about the movement condition. I suspect it may be a bit rusty. He's asking $3000 usd, and I'm quite sure you can find one in better condition with no black dots for that price.

    Can't post any other pictures-not sure why
    I have seen a movement picture and it looks good-no rust-Cal 550, 17J, 25,xxx,xxx serial number
    I appreciate the help so far, thanks

    its personal preference, personally I don't like the grey lume. If you like it thats all that matters.
    the black specs would bother me more though.
