    Hi,

I just got my first vintage Omega Seamaster but I would really like to hear what you think about it. The dial has some patina so I guess it's the original one

Even with the markers that have been replaced, it looks like a nice daily wear watch. Hope the price was right. Due diligence in regards to pricing and condition should always be a consideration. Now it has begun. Bet you can't only have 1.

It is not perfect for the extremely well informed experts here, but its a very nice Seamaster. I like it.
Wear it and enjoy it !

Hi KoS, welcome to the Forum!
It is a nice looking watch, taking into account the remarks already made.
The dial has been tampered with: seems that the original lume at 3, 6, 9 and 12 has fallen off/removed, and that someone put a minute marker instead at those places. EDIT: same goes for the 8 and 10
The hour hand does not match this watch, IMHO, at least the minute hand and hour hand do not seem to form a pair.
If you provide with high res pics of the backside and inside (cal + backside) the more knowledgable might give you some extra info.

I too would love to see the inside ..... try to get good resolution pictures so the experts can really tell u some interesting stuff.
You are new so let me tell you that you have what is called a "Franken" watch. They are not highly valued here but are my favorites.
    Enjoy your first Omega

I would not consider a watch with a bad dial and wrong (if so) hands a 'Franken". From what I see and read, that definition is mostly used for a watch with non-matching case and cal. We won't know till we see the inside.
