Hi Brains trust, hoping to get some info on this vintage Seamaster for a friend (not interested in selling as was his grandfather's)
Will get further info but at this point all I know it that it's 34/35mm, manual and has fixed bars.
Any insight would be appreciated

I don't think it should have fixed bars, maybe somebody just installed the wrong kind of springbars.

Anyway, it could be one of the cal 420 Seamasters, like a 2759. But there are a few similar beefy lug references. If he wants to be sure about the movement and reference, it would be helpful to see photos of the inside.
