Found this in my father's possessions recently. My mom purchased it for him for what she remembers to be his 40th birthday which was in March of 1985. Beyond that, I have no idea about this watch. Do you guys/gals know anything about this model? Thanks! -Joe
Looks like a late 60's / very early 70's Sparkle 166.032 caliber 752. Nice watch, and very popular among vintage Omega collectors. Is it gold plated or stainless steel? Can't tell from the color in the pictures.
It is yellow colored but says stainless steel on it.. unless that is just the face. I'm really clueless about watches my apologies
Pics are a bit deceptive in colour, but it looks like a gold capped version - solid 14k bezel and 220 microns of gold on the case body. Very nice piece with a highly regarded movement. Well worth having the case cleaned and the movement disassembled, cleaned and oiled. With a service around every five years the watch will outlive us all! Cheers Desmond
