Greetings everyone, I'm new to watch collecting but I've always wanted to own an Omega. However where I live, they're extremely hard to come by. I found a guy selling this Seamaster for approximately $350USD and i would really appreciate your opinion on its authenticity and if its worth the price. I have no photos with the case back off however.

Appears genuine from the provided photos (not the best), condition leaves a bit to be desired. The case shows plenty of wear and the dial is aged significantly around it's periphery.

Quartz watches don't get much love on the forum so that's another strike against the watch, the style isn't the most desirable either.

Price is not bargain, for only a few hundred more you should be able to find a decent mechanical Omega.

Is there something in particular about the watch that you find alluring?

Well honestly, it resembles a watch that my late grandfather owned. I doubt his was an Omega however, but it still looks like something he'd wear. I think for me the allure of the watch is more sentimental than looking for a bargain.
With that being said, thank you very much for your input and knowledge.
