Hi! Im new here and I think you can help me. I bought this watch a few months ago. I thought it was fully original. I would like to buy Omega conatellation now and have decided to sell this one. One of the buyers suggested that the dial may have been painted in the past. What do you think about it?

I don't think so. Lettering and hashes look correct, and the wear on the dial is consistent with that on the case. It even appears to have the original crystal with the etched Omega symbol. These were pretty plain dials. It's nice and unpolished, too, though a bit scratched (including a deep one on the back, likely from a mis-wrenching). All in all, I'd say a quite decent example.

Dial looks completely original to me, I like those tiny specs of patina freckles and nice lume plots.

Your ref 14701 is original other than the crown. The crown is correct in the sense it's the one Omega suggests as a replacement, but has a different appearance compared to original. My 14701 has the same replacement crown as yours, sourced from Otto Frei.
