I put this up again as had no images in original.

I got a vintage Omage Seamaster and I love it. The time wasn't great so sent it for a service. I was told that whoever owned it before had done a botch job and needed a new balance among other things. It was too expensive to repair so I thought I have two options. I could either sell it on ebay for parts or get a new movement. I love the feel and look of this watch so I really want to keep it. All advice will tell me to dump it but when you find a watch you like you want it working. I am going to buy a watch off ebay and use it's movement but my question is this. My watch is supposed to be a cal. 1000. I am not finding too many of them but there are 1010 and 1012 watches that I could buy easily enough. Would the movement off these fit?Or could I buy a replacement watch and just change the face to my green one 20140410_174903.jpg 20140410_174948.jpg 20140410_175044.jpg 20140410_174903.jpg 20140410_174948.jpg 20140410_175044.jpg ? Are these other movements the same size?

Thanks for your advice Omega lovers
