I bought this vintage Thunderbird last year and have worn it sparingly since. Thought I’d canvass whether any members were interested in a trade for a solid gold Omega, ideally from the 50s. Willing to trade up or down depending on the model. Beefy lug Seamasters and deluxe Connies with clean dials would be preferred.

The Thunderbird features what I believe is an uncommon and attractive bronze color dial. The signature gold bezel rotates smoothly.
Ref 1625.

I purchased the watch from a reputable shop in Palm Springs that has an in-house watchmaker who allegedly serviced the watch before the sale. I say allegedly as I’ve found that hand movement alone tends not to be enough to keep the watch running all day. The watch winds smoothly and the date changes crisply at midnight.

Pictured Strapsco bracelet is included. No other accessories.

Shipping from Vancouver, Canada. F2F or shipping from across the border in Washington state could possibly be arranged.

A few dozen reviews as buyer and seller from fellow members:

Reputable dealer with an alleged service? Was there no warranty offered when you bought the watch?

TRADE PENDING!

Quite a few interesting trade proposals - keep them coming!

Would also trade up for a vintage Patek with integrated bracelet.

The watch was sold with a “let us know if there are any issues” warranty. I took that watch to the shop when I visited PS a few months after buying the watch. The watchmaker checked it out over a 24-hour period and said it was running well and didn’t require any repair.
