I think the Omega Seamaster 145.006 would probably be the best, but impossible to find...

Nivada has a different case style, but also a very attractive dial.
There's one soft case Nivada on C24 currently.

 

Maybe not a racing dial but I have this funky waterproof chornograph from the 60s

I also found out that Glycine and Gigandet made some chronographs using this racing exotic design.
