Just want to share a vintage Omega I got from a local used watch shop.
ALL ORIGINAL from the marked crystal down to the buckle. Circa 1954.
The Omega 2791-4 Calibre 266 with a very unusual engraving on the dial.
Can't seem to find any information on it online and I was hoping you guys could fill me in.

    Thanks for looking.

Cool! Thanks for the quick reply.
I'm still arguing with myself if this is a keeper or a flipper.

That's Scottish humor. It sounds much funnier when heard in a thick Jordy accent ;)

    It was the trains...

...and that was a loooong time ago, and there were *ahem* trade-offs. And while Italy is not the worst country in Yurp for trains (that would be Spain, where if you get on the train that is at the platform when your train is supposed to be there, you are guaranteed to be on the wrong train) let me assure you it is not the case now.

The swiss train is punctual up to +/- 1 minute. It's just amazing to see this 'chronometer' trains.

In Indonesia it is already good if it is +/- 1 hour for long haul train.
