    Hi.

    Looks to be a 1940s model, probably with a 30mm movement in it.

    Are you able to unscrew the case back to see the numbers on the inside of the case back and the serial no on the movement?

    Thanks for the reply. Didn't realise it was as old as that. I've been into a jewellers and they have quoted me about £200 to "Bring it back to life". Is the price about right ? Sorry can't get the back off. I suppose a special tool is required ?
