    Hello gentlemen!

The craving for another watch is getting stronger and I like to find my self a vintage Omega with coffin style markers!

I would prefer to find something slightly larger than the standard 35mm diameter, but could also go with 35mm if I really love the design.

Are there any references/models I should look for that exceedes 35mm?

Including the 35mm ones... what would the references be to look for? Are there many vintage models with coffin style markers?? Maybe a stupid question :)

    All input appreciated!

Seems like it was only available in gold? I am looking for a steel case model. Sorry... forgot to mention!

Anybody know if a slightly larger model was made with coffin markers?

This is my 1959 2278-3 35mm. I also had reservations about a 35mm as also have 42mm PO, but I love this watch and it's great with a dress shirt.

Stunning. It is not exactly the same as the one MikiJ posted, right? What ref# is it?

Yea... like them as well. They seem to be so darn expensive though if in good condition. Or am I wrong on that??

    Thank you. It is a ref.# 2846, Movement 501 and 34.5mm.
I only wore for dress-up days with my Dad's white gold with diamonds and sapphire "Buttons" :)

I got lucky with this one, and seems it was previously untouched! So I had it completly overhaulled and now it runs like a charm!

It is the same reference. There are many dial variations for this case.

Ok... Thanks. It is definitely the kind of look I want. Might be that it is a bit on the small side, but very good looking.

Do you know if there are references with the same style case/markers but with a slightly larger case??

Hmm, I have a reference 2992 in 36,3mm in that style, but maybe not easy to find one.

Would there be other ref with the same or similar case size/look?

Search for Jumbo seamaster, they are about 36mm - good luck.

Love the dial... but what ever that is called replacing the lugs is just plain ugly! :) Completely destroys the watch in my opinion.
