Vintage Omega watch value sinking?

    I own over 100 vintage Omega watches, many over 100 years old. I recently wanted to sell some on ebay and was shocked to find that values on these watches seem to have plummeted, as well as interest in them. Have any other members noticed this?

    SERIAL NUMBER: 7158039
    MOVEMENT: OMEGA SWISS 15 JEWEL 2 POSITION.

    Seems to be little interest now. When I acquired it seven years ago, there was heavy bidding on it.

    I don't know much about trench watches, but I think you have problems here.

    Unfortunately prices decreased for trench watches in the last years...I had one as well which I bought 6 years ago...it was pretty hard to get rid of it..good luck with the sell

    Omega values are going up, Ukrainian / Chinese pocket watch conversions of old cheap Omega movements like the 35.5L were never worth anything to begin with though.

    Yes, knowledge has spread over the last year, hence the lower "interest" for franken watches

    My ´favourite´ Ukranian Special, the very limited edition ´щасливе обличчяor´ or `Happy Face´, as it is known outside of the home market, in all its cheeky glory :D

    The worst one I've seen was a nazi theme one where they basically tried to fit every single Nazi symbol into the one watch, so they had swastikas, a picture of hitler, a tiger tank, SS bolts, a U-Boat, kids doing the heil hitler and an ME-109. Sort of like a third reich's greatest hits commemorative dial.

    If there's one thing I dislike more than nazi crap it's fake nazi crap.

    You had heavy bidding on this watch ? That's hard to understand, but I do believe you will have trouble selling it. You might even have trouble giving that away. Putting it kindly, it's not a very attractive watch.
