Found in a box of old watches I am trying to indentify this watch.
From the numbers on the mouvement and the cover I think that its origin date back to the period 1937/1940.
Finding the exact model has been a challenge.

Looks like a Filenios, here in the 1937 catalog :

    That's bloomin' gorgeous! Dibs!

Edit: Did these come with different hands styles? ::confused2::

I'm pretty sure yes they did come with different dials and hands. On the catalog I have scanned the dial is identified as 346. Some other models are displayed in the same catalog with multiple dial configurations.

Although the Filenios is displayed in the catalog with only the 346, I think all models were also sold with luminescent dials+hands.

I am convinced that the lumed dial I show is original to the Watch. The lumed hands look a little bit old fashioned for 1937 on the last one I show, but I have no example of what they should look like.

The dial and hands of the one showed by Vivelacolo are not original ones (redial and hands of a much later style).

You can also see the Filenios in AJTT p.120.

    Thanks!

That's good to know. I'm amazed at how many variations there are on these dials!
Many thanks for the information. I'm learning something every day! :)
