hi - I am new here, how do I learn about my omega? Should I take it into an authorized dealer so they can open the back and learn what serial it is? Would people on this site know if I took good photos and posted them? I am trying to learn about the history and value of the watch. Thank you in advance

Take pictures of the inside caseback. Other pictures of the watch from different angles would also be helpful.

The dial is from 1969-1971, and the bezel is from 1969 and before. So if that lines up with the insides you could have a 145.022-69 (with a DON bezel). Check out speedmaster101.com for more info and value.

Yup, what @BenBagbag said. More pictures will answer the question.

We can tell what model you have here with more pictures, but opening up the caseback will verifify that the movement serial is correct. From the front alone, it’s probably 145.022-69. Be sure to give more pictures though and we’ll let ya know for sure!
