For sale I have my Omega Speedmaster Mark II, reference 145.014. I have eyes set on a big grail, and will be letting several pieces from my personal collection go. The Mark II has a quirky place in Speedmaster history and this is truly a unique reference. This particular example has been in my collection for almost 3 years, and worn perhaps a dozen or so times when it wasn’t at the bank. I spent several months hunting for the right example, looking for the right combination of case condition and dial patina. I believe this watch still retains the original case polishing, as the radial sunburst polish is still evident. Moreover, the case lines are still very sharp and stunning. The dial has also started to show signs of transitioning into a beautiful tropical brown. The original hands have even and matching patina with the dial markers. The caliber 861 serial range is correct for this reference and original to the watch. The watch is runs and chrono functions work as they should. However, service history is unknown and as with any vintage watch, water resistance is not guaranteed. The watch comes mounted on a later 1162/173complete bracelet the previous owner purchased from the boutique. It is in excellent condition and comes with spare links. I believe this to be an original, honest example befitting of any collection.
