I am new to the Omega Forums. I picked up another Omega Seamaster from an old watch repair man I have purchased from above. Can anyone comment on this dial. The crown, case back and crystal are all correct, but I have not found this dial anywhere on the net. Thank you for any assistance.

I believe the hands on yours have been replaced. Style and lume color point in this direction.

 

You have the Seamaster 300 companion model as I call them. Used either a caliber 552 for the auto model or caliber 600 for the manual

Sweep hand is wrong. Should be a luminous styled hand. Hour and minute are correct

Checking out XJR's link. That one has a 550 caliber.

Two models - heavier luminous styled hands is a previous model and replaced with the 552 model with different hands all around

Love that orange hand though, and its not a major flaw and I would not think it would be hard to find the correct one at a later date. Actually Love the look with it.

That dial is correct and desirable for a 165.002.
