    Hi,

I'm looking for a vintage "dress watch" and have had my eyes on Omega Seamasters from the 50'ies or 60'ies. I am however open for suggestions as long as price does not get completely out of hand.

Preferrably I would like to stay away from gold, so steel would be my number one option. Also I am looking for an original watch in good condition. I am a bit pedantic :)

I'm "Sweden based" so if available within Europe that would make the "import" easier. At least so I believe... but correct me if I'm wrong.

Hope you can help me find my first vintage watch!

    Br

There was mention of an issue with the latest Windows Explorer, might that be causing your issue?

Don't think you have to appologize. Hijacked threads are very common here and part of the soul of this forum :p

Well to be honest the are all beautiful! I could do with having the all in my drawer :) So in terms of model I like them all in different ways. The 600 is fantastic, but came in too small sizes maybe? Max 34 mm??

I don't like the watch to be too small, so probably 35mm and above. Casing in steel. Dial in black or white. Champagne maybe for my second vintage, but not for this one :) Hands preferrably silver coloured... not gold.

A rather clean look in other words :) So... steel... black/white dial... no gold hand...

AND... most importantly... very good condition!!

Ohhh.. second to last one is VERY nice as well... if hands would have been in steel. What model/year is that?

You mean the one between the two black dials?
I initially wanted all steel like you, but with time you realized how beautiful the contrast of gold furniture on a steel case is.

If you want to continue using IE11 and the quote feature, right click on the quote arrow and choose the option to "Open Link in New Window".

After posting your reply, either close the original window, or close the new one and refresh the browser.

    Works every time,

Correct... that one. Do you know if it is a special seamaster model? Year?

You are right... gold furniture has its charm as well... its just that I had my mind set on steel/silver for this first one. But if the right one comes up... especially on black dial... who knows...
