I have a vintage Omega Seamaster that has a black face and beads of rice band. Both the case and band are gold colored. Removed the back and the calibre # is 471, serial # 14978***, which I looked up and got the year of manufacture 1955. My question is has anyone seen this color of face and case/band combination. I have looked on several websites and can only find case/band in silver with a white face.

The photos are of the case with a leather band. The beads of rice band is in storage at the moment.

The colour combination isn't uncommon, but your watch has been redialed at some point.

And it probably wasn't originally black.
