Vintage Omega Seamaster Help

My local jeweler has this watch that I am considering purchasing. When I looked up reference GX6250 I found other dials, but then some similar. Do you all think this is a redial? I read on Reddit that there were a lot of variations pre-1990 and was hard to determine via picture alone, but I’m here looking for help. I know the strap is not original, but it looks to be in good shape otherwise. The price is $650. Attached are pictures. Thanks!

The dial photo isn't clear enough to tell. Omega made dozens of watch/dial/hands/etc combos back then and all shared the same reference, so finding a matching one isn't necessarily a given.

The key on that one is going to be to check the minute markers if they are all even and equal. Remember they were machine made, so there is no inconsistency on spacing or shape. I see a few that look suspicious in the last photo, but the photo compression artifacts can mess with them.

Thank you! I’m trying to dabble in vintage watches, and I have learned quickly the learning curve. If it were a redial, how bad does that affect the value? I like the watch and intend to wear when dressing up, but also do not want to overpay a lot. I will check the dial spacing better next time I’m there.

The third and last photos are somewhat blurry but, to me, it looks like the font on 'Seamaster' is a bit off. The 'e's don't seem to match and the 'm' looks a bit overly-wide. I'd double-check that in-person, if you're able to.

Redial basically makes it only worth parts to a collector. In this case, with an authentic dial (not sure it is), $650 is probably about right. As a redial, expect about half that, perhaps less.

You will need better photos. Also, because this example has a gold filled case, it's not worth $650, IMO.

I'm on the fence with this one, but leaning toward redial pending much clearer photos.
