Selling an excellent condition, all original, 1972 Omega Seamaster Chronograph "Big Blue," ref 176.004 from my personal collection. This is a stunning watch that needs no introduction, it is Omega's first automatic chronograph dive watch that comes from an era when watches were produced by engineers having to solve specific issues or trying to create an instrument that would help the right people at the right job.
This is a BIG watch, weighing at a whopping 176 grams, measuring 47mm in width, including the crown; 52mm in length; and 17mm thick, with a 22mm lug size. The cal 1040 automatic movement is working great and running strong, keeps accurate time. The 1162 bracelet looks to be full size and in excellent condition as well. I didn't open the case to take pictures of the movement but can do so upon request from serious buyers. The watch comes with a vintage Omega box but I am not 100% sure if this box is original to the watch. I have seen photos of the watch with this exact box but I have also seen photos of it with a different style box, so I can't for sure say it is original.
If you appreciate Omegas and dive watches, don't miss out on having this rare, collectible piece in your collection.
