Hi All, I'm new to vintage watches, and recently purchased my first: an Omega Seamaster Automatic Chronometer cal. 564 from 1972. The watch is in beautiful condition and is running very smoothly, however I've noticed that there is a small bit of debris between part of the glass and bezel (too small to capture on camera). Should I be concerned about this? The only reason I noticed it was because the debris is black and it caught my eye while examining the crystal.

Any and all advice would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.

If you don't know the service history, you'll want it serviced so bring it to the watchmaker's attention at that time. DO NOT SEND TO OMEGA FOR SERVICE!!!

Very nice choice for your entry into the vintage Omega world. IMHO, the Seamaster Chronometers are undervalued.
If it is running and keeping time, I would not worry about it.
