I bought this watch thinking that it was a standard SMD from the late 60s. The photos in the listing weren’t great but the watch appeared to be in really good condition and I liked the look of the racing/ms track on the dial. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the watch and saw the sigma symbol at the bottom of the dial. For those who aren’t familiar with sigma dials, the sigma symbol indicates that the hands and markers are solid gold. More info about sigma dials can be found at the following link: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/what-is-a-sigma-dial Stainless steel unishell or monocoque case shows some traces of wear but well preserved overall. Inside is a 17 jewel cal. 563 automatic movement. Serial number 33,xxx,xxx dating the watch to approximately 1971. Reference no: 166.020 Serviced earlier this year and comes with a service receipt. The two photos of the movement were taken by the watchmaker. Omega signed crown. Omega signed crystal. Comes with the attached stainless steel bracelet. Price: $875 USD with tracked shipping included to Canada and CONUS References gladly provided upon request.
