Hi OF, I am selling a vintage Omega Seamaster ref. 2849 in stainless steel. 15.7mil serial number dates the watch to 1957. It has a clean dial that has developed a nice and even cream colored patina and a sharp case. Case: The case measures 34mm and is in great condition. It has scratches on it commensurate with wear but looks clean and is apparently unpolished. This watch appears to be unpolished and retains nice sharp facets which I tried to show in pictures. Caseback is clean with very clear "Seamaster" and "Waterproof" text no gouge marks. Crown is original to the watch. Crystal retains the original Omega logo and some scratches that likely will polish out. Dial and hands: The dial is in great condition. It has aged to a nice cream/ivory color. A very pleasant vintage color IMO. The radium lume also has aged very nicely to a warm color. The hands show corrosion/oxidation and are original to the watch. The faceted markers show no corrosion (Shiny!). Movement: The watch is keeping good time and date changes over nicely at 12. The caliber 503 movement has a quick-set function that works by winding it back and forth between 11 & 12 which is much more efficient than some other calibers which require going between 9 and 12. Though it is keeping good time, it has not been serviced in my possession and service is recommended before daily wear. Watch comes with the lightly worn brown leather strap seen in pictures which I think complements it nicely. Fix-o-Flex band not included. No box/papers. I try to price my watches fair and reasonably. I am asking USD $750 OBO shipped CONUS. Int'l at cost. Paypal/Zelle/Venmo or transferwise for int'l buyer. Happy to answer any questions by PM. No returns unless grossly misrepresented. I have a bunch of feedback here: Thank you! Ben Pics:
Oops! It was a mistake just in the title. Don't know how it ended up in there but I just I edited it out. Thanks for the heads up.
