Vintage is very trick so many pitfalls. Ebay is a dangerous place even at times for people who know what they are doing. I am a beginner by the way, I mean well.

Due your due diligence or if you play with fire and you will get burned.

Honestly the one you bid on looks to be the best one out of the bunch, it might even be new old stock from the hangtag and purple goo on the caseback. The rest are most likely redialed which reduce the value for collectors.

On this forum you will find many thousands of years of collective knowledge. Research is the essence of this hobby - the "I want it and I want it now" mentality is the route to expensive failure - and using internet fora as a search engine will not endear you to anyone.

Most of us started by seeing something we liked and reading as much about those watches as we could. That means buying books (or borrowing them) countless hours on the internet and making a few mistakes along the way.

You do have to take the responsibility for your own actions and pay for those mistakes with what we refer to as the "noob tax"

The best way to make an entrance is to pick one watch and say what you think is right about it, but be prepared to listen to what others have to say.

Listing a load and saying "which would you pick" is just lazy.
