Hello,

I'm an auctioneer and I had a client bring this watch to me, Omega is not my strongest suit, something doesn't feel right to me but I would be very grateful for opinions on it.

First, thanks for being up front with your question.

Based on the one photo, it looks legitimate. It's an Omega reference 176.005 (176.0005) sometimes known as the "Jedi".
The caseback is stainless steel so the case is gold plated, not solid gold.

A search on the internet for tose references should give you more info and a price guide.
