Hello everyone and happy new year!

Recently, i came across a decent watchmaking estate with all sorts of goodies, from straps or bracelets to cases, movement parts, hands you name it, different brands including Omega. To keep things short, the straps alone triggered the insane bundle take over, however, when they landed, i had quite a surprise.

While you will see in different old catalog pictures these old-school (usually beige / cream / honeycomb) straps attached to Omega watches (ie: Seamaster, Constellation, etc.), they are generally in the 16-18mm range.
Something like this, to be precise:

However, the curious thing about some of my straps is they are slightly larger, from 19 to 21mm and all have ~17.6/17.8mm at buckle end.

They will fit well the SM300 or Speedmaster:

But color wise i don't think they may have been intended for these.
I've tried them on a couple CK859 and they are like too thick at the lug end to even try to adapt.

So what sort of watches could have these been fitted to if not divers or chronographs ? For example, of the 1950-60's, i do not think of too many watches able to take a 21mm thick beige strap.

The black ones are of a different sort, much more thinner but of the same quality and much more easier to adapt.

And some of the loose buckles and probably the above strap pins from the same estate: 20230125_134239.jpg

Luckily, they came mixed with some other small sized straps like pig skin, lizard or calf, some still retaining some tags but nothing i could identify as a manufacture.

One smaller pig skin honeycomb hand stitched, affixed to my Naiad:

Most have pig skin lining, no matter if calf, camel or whatever else so i they were surely made to last.

While for the hands, most being Omega i was able to recognize myself, but there's a sort of "gothic" or "spear-head" packet that i haven't seen before. Looking at the burns, i'd say radium luminous. Are these something familiar for anyone ?

    Thank you for your attention!
