Hello everyone!

I am seriously considering purchasing this but I am unsure about its legitimacy. From what I can see, the hands in this piece look a little off but I am not very sure about this due to my lack of experience. I鈥檓 thinking of purchasing this for around 450USD.

Owner claims this piece might be from 1963 and runs the cal 286.

I just really love the way it looks so I鈥檓 just a little uncertain on whether I am being impulsive on this one.

Would really appreciate any and all inputs 馃榾

Thank you!

Do you have any other pics? Of the internals. It looks authentic, but who knows if it is a complete rust-bucket inside

Unfortunately not at the moment. If the internals are working well and in good condition, do you think 450USD is a fair price?

Also thanks for taking time to give me advice!

I would pass at $450.

Average dial, wrong hands and average condition movement

Hi! Thanks for your thoughts. I鈥檝e just been really into this particular ref and find it very hard to come by. Since I am new to the scene, I鈥檓 not sure if I have been doing this search correctly. Is this ref a rare one to come by? I just love how simple this watch is, have been eyeing it for months now

With the variety of 30 mm movements out there. There are an infinite number of sweep models available with different dial designs.

You might find another model with the same dial, but with another movement.

I would do a movement check and find all the 30 mm sweep movements and then Google search each one to see the various designs.

Don't jump in and buy the first one you see. Nobody wants to pay a noob tax

Have you checked the sales forum here? From memory there have been similar ones quite recently. That will also give you a better indication of a fair price
