Hi everyone, I’m wondering if anyone can tell me if this is a redial. It’s a ref 2890-4 from 1960 and powered by a cal 267. I purchased this from a trusted dealer and don’t suspect it to be a redial but a reddit user commented that the applied OMEGA made him think it was a redial. I’m not the most knowledgeable in vintage omegas, so I figured I’d poll the experts here. Thank you in advance for any help. -Sheev Edit: additional pics https://m.imgur.com/a/CbMRe
I would say it's a redial. It appears as if the 3 and 9 indicies have been placed too low relative to the horizontal cross line. The Omega symbol may also be tilted.
The 3 and 9 indices are perfectly in line - it was just the angle of the photo. The applied logo also appears to be in line, but it’s a little more difficult to tell in person.
I can buy that. I tried to look at the base of the indicie, but it can be hard to tell. I didn't see any errors in the tick marking, but boy is that dial clean for it's age. It's going to take someone like @hoipolloi to tell for sure--he's spotted one of my watches as a redial that I didn't catch.
Apologies - I wasn’t trying to argue. The picture made the indices and logo appear crooked. It was just the angle of the photo and shadows. In reality they are perfectly aligned to the naked eye. My photography skills aren’t good enough to catch that so I figured I would clarify.

If it is a redial it is a good one. Very hard to tell from the angle of the glass distorting the lines etc. I’ll defer to those more knowledgeable than me (most) but I think it looks great so wear it in good health
