    Hi everybody,
    I need your help.
I want to buy this watch, but I have no information about it. The only thing I know, it's an automatic Omega and probably from the 80s.
    An idea of the price?
    And what about the caliber?
    Thank you to all

    I don't have it so i can't just open it :)

Hello and welcome to the Forum.

Looks like you have a reference ST 166.0085, ca early/mid 1970s.

    Caliber 1002.

The one shown here in the Omega database has a different dial, but these were offered with many different dials.

Not a particularly collectable watch so the price in really nice condition wouldn't be more than $300-400 USD.

Welcome to the forum and the world of collecting vintage watches.

These early 1000 calibre models aren't all that collectible unless they're in a Ploprof. They were problematic and some have survived without the required Omega modifications.

You're clearly interested in vintage watches, a world where there are many pitfalls to avoid. Often it's better to spend some time looking and learning before taking the plunge so as to avoid disappointment.

A better calibre that is available in a similar shaped watch is the calibre 565 DeVille model 166.0145 shown below:

    Hi,

We often find better, i know. If i can have it for 130 euros (164$) it's not worth it ??

    Thanks :)
