Vintage Omega ID Help: Redial, Jumbo Case, Resale Value

Hi,

I am new to forum and I need some help on identifying this watch that my dad bought years ago. It was left to me with various other watches and I am trying to figure out which reference this may be (sorry but I don’t have the tool to remove the back). But more importantly it appears the dial was refinished. Either way, I intend to get rid of it however since the dial has been refinished does it have value? Is it better for me to get it serviced through Omega to have it redone and then resold?

It has value. Especially if it's solid gold. Printing is a little...heavy.

eBay. Take clear photos of the case, dial, inside case back and movement. Someone with a nice dial will want it.
Looks like a "jumbo" case.

And don't bother having it serviced you will not recoup that money at all.

Very much looks like a redial to me, it has value, but as 'parts'. If it is a gold case (and not plated, filled, etc), that part has melt value, else the movement is a $1-200. Perhaps worth more than that as a complete watch to someone willing to replace the dial with an authentic one.

Best place to sell is Ebay, but to get the best money for it, you'll want/need movement and inner-case photos.
